Welcome to Zeejays Jerk & Catering, a family owned and operated catering business built on love for family, culture, community, and good food.
Founded in 2010 by Zilan and Jason Ricketts, Zeejays began in our family kitchen in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a simple goal: to share the authentic flavors and traditions of Jamaica with the people around us.
As a family with four children, we understand the importance of bringing people together around the table. What started as a small backyard kitchen has grown through years of catering celebrations, weddings, church events, school functions, family gatherings, holiday events, and other special occasions.
Our Jamaican roots are an important part of who we are. We take pride in preparing Caribbean inspired dishes that reflect the flavors and traditions we grew up with, including favorites such as jerk chicken, jerk pork, curry chicken, oxtail, escovitch fish, rice and peas, festival, and more.
